ADC-DAC
Here we used ADC-DAC of the DSP processor (TMS320). It has two 8 bit ADCs and one external 12 bit DAC.
We generated Saw tooth, Triangular and Sinusoidal waveforms . Also we generated multichannel waveform of Sinusoidal waveform with different phase values. To use code in order to develop various types of waveforms and then display the output on a CRO. Most of the signals directly encountered in science and engineering are continuous, light intensity that changes with distance; voltage that varies over time; chemical reaction rate that depends on temperature, etc.
Analog‐to‐Digital Conversion (ADC) and Digital‐to‐Analog Conversion (DAC) are the
processes that allow digital computers to interact with these everyday signals. For the DSP board we are using we have 4 channel DAC and a 2 channel ADC.
